What we do
We help organisations to think, act, and lead in complex systems. The work falls into three areas: systems change, strategy and organisations, and capability building.
Systems change

When no single organisation can move the problem
Many actors, cause and effect spread across them, and incentives that do not line up. We align the coalition on the system boundary, co-design the shared map and narrative with its members, and build the governance rhythm, then hand it over.
Who we've done this with
This can include
- Mobilising a coalition to act together
- Keeping strategy in step with a changing system
- Mapping how your system really works
- Studying users and the system around them
- Planning for more than one future
- Bringing in everyone with a stake
- Building the relationships the work depends on
Strategy and organisations

When the plan reads well and nobody can point to a live decision inside it
How strategy, structure, capability, and ways of working fit together. Trade-offs get decided in the room with your leadership, and the operating model is co-designed with the people who run it.
Who we've done this with
This can include
- Setting a direction your people will own
- Co-designing your operating model
- Aligning your leaders in an executive wargame
- Agreeing what you are trying to change
- Finding the growth you haven't tapped
- Designing a path with your stakeholders
- Redesigning services with their users
- Testing ideas small before you commit
Capability building

When your best people's ceiling is hours, not ability
Capability built inside the work itself: how a person or a team carries their load, their tooling, and their judgement.
Who we've done this with
This can include
- Helping your best people get more from AI
- Judging honestly where AI fits
- Setting up a working AI system for your team
- Learning the basics of systemic design
- Training your team to run it themselves
- Coaching leaders through demanding work
- Staying on to make the change stick
Where we're working now
Three areas where this work is making a difference now.

AI and how organisations work
The decisions that matter sit on the organisation side: which work changes, and who owns the redesign.

Mobilisation
A market only endures when the local organisations expected to run it helped design it.

Research partnerships
A shared map so universities and industry work from the same picture.
